Before you start
You need two things: the Cinemana app file (15.5 MB) and about two minutes. Grab the file from the download page first, then come back here. The file is only 15.5 MB, so the download finishes quickly even on slower connections. If you have never installed an app outside the Play Store, the Cinemana app home page explains what the file is.
Download the APK
Tap the download button on the download page and wait through the short countdown. Save the file to your Downloads folder and confirm it reads 15.5 MB when it finishes. A short file is the number one cause of install failures, and the install error fixes cover that case in detail.
Allow unknown apps
Open the downloaded file. Android will ask you to allow your browser to install unknown apps. This is standard for anything installed outside the Play Store: enable it for the browser only, then confirm. You can flip the permission back off afterward, which is one of the habits in our safety breakdown.
Run the installer
Tap the APK and confirm the install prompt. Check that the package name reads com.shabakaty.cinemana before you accept. The install takes a few seconds on most phones. If Android refuses with an "app not installed" message, an older copy is usually the culprit: uninstall it and try again.
First-launch checks
Open Cinemana and grant the storage permission when asked. Without it, posters load slowly or not at all. Then pick the movies or series tab and open any title to confirm playback works on your connection. If videos spin forever, the buffering fixes walk through the causes in order.
